Privacy Policy

Purpose

Content Opportunity Research is a privately operated market-research tool. It analyses aggregate keyword and content-performance information to evaluate content-market hypotheses.

Google data accessed

The tool uses the Google Ads API to request keyword ideas and aggregate historical metrics, including approximate monthly searches, advertiser competition, competition indices, and bid ranges. It may also process Google Ads account identifiers required to authenticate and direct an authorised API request.

The tool does not use the API to create, modify, or manage advertising campaigns.

How information is used

Retrieved information is used solely for internal research, statistical analysis, comparison, and evidence-backed reporting. It is not used for behavioural advertising or automated decisions about individuals.

Storage, disclosure, and security

Research observations are stored locally by the operator. Google account credentials and service-account credentials are kept outside public site files and research reports. Data and credentials are not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

Reasonable technical measures are used to restrict access to credentials and stored research data. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Retention and deletion

Research observations are retained only while they remain useful for the research project, auditability, and reproducibility. Credentials are removed when they are no longer required. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to the contact address below.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including its Limited Use requirements.

Website hosting

This static website does not intentionally set advertising cookies or use behavioural analytics. The hosting provider may process standard request metadata, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the site under its own terms and privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the tool's data practices change. The current revision date will be displayed at the top of this page.
